Things are downright wild at the "Wild Flavors" factory in Erlanger, Kentucky after 22 employees won a nearly $12 million Lotto South lottery jackpot.

The smell of money was in the air for 22 employees who are the winners of a nearly $12 million lotto jackpot and they're not the only ones cashing in.

What are the odds of two $12 million winning tickets being sold 16 miles apart in the same week. Amazingly someone in Green hills still has not come forward to claim their money.

But there was a lot of celebrating going on in Erlanger Monday.

"My husband wants a truck and I think he'll get that truck now," said Linda Mann, Lottery Winner.

"I have a son who's 11 and I'll put some money away for his college and I'll give some to my parents for all the things they've done for me," said Robert Seitz, $177,000 richer.

"We have children who need to go to college and they also need cars, they're at that age," said Karen Smith, lottery winner.

Twenty-two Wild Flavor workers have already made some big decisions after winning $177,000 each after taxes.

For eight months, once a week they've put $10 each into a pool buying more than 7,000 tickets since last October.

"I thought hey...everybody they can win so you got to take the chance to win so I feel lucky," Seitz said.

They purchased the Lotto South ticket that includes Kentucky, Georgia and Virginia at the Save on Cigs store in Covington.

But that was not the only winning ticket in town. Another $12 million winner was purchased last week at the Village Keg, Wine and Spirits shop in Green hills.

That winner has not come forward yet.

"Just hopefully whomever has the ticket shows up with it and we can congratulate them and have a little party," said Rob Kenny, sold $12 million ticket.

In the meantime, the wild winners said the money won't change a thing.

"Here we're one big happy family. We get along when somebody's down we pitch in and help. Sure they're going to buy gifts but we're the same people," Mann said.

"It makes it better, more exciting working here," Smith said.

And the winners were right back at it Monday. All 22 put their money into the weekly pool for another try.

32-33 weeks w 22 people ...about $320.00 invested by each person since they started playing 8 months ago. that's real commitment to a single game considering some undoubtedly played other lottery selections on their own.

That other winning ticket was for Ohio's SuperLottoPlus, not Lotto South. The news media here is making a big deal out of the fact that 2 lottery jackpots were won here in the Cincinnati metro area on Saturday. So what if it's only 16 miles from Greenhills, OH to Covington, KY? It's still two separate lottery games from two separate states.
