Powerball will dominate conversations around the water cooler this week. That's because no one correctly matched all six numbers in Saturday's drawing, pushing the jackpot to an estimated $170 million. That's currently the largest lottery jackpot in the world.

The $170 million dollar jackpot would rank as the 8th largest Powerball jackpot ever.

The cash option for the Wednesday, May 5 drawing will be an estimated $90.4 million.

There were no Powerball jackpot winners Saturday but 964,485 players across the nation won a total of more than $7.2 million in prizes in America's Game.

This current jackpot run started with the Wednesday, March 17 drawing. The drawing on Saturday night was the 14th consecutive draw without being hit. More than 6.6 million Powerball players across the nation have won a total of more than $51 million in cash prizes since this jackpot run started.

This is the fourth time in the last 10 months that Powerball has reached the $170 million mark.

The numbers drawn were: 1, 10, 34, 39, 47, and the Powerball was 33. The Power Play multiplier was 3.

Thirteen players correctly matched the 5 white numbers and won $100,000. The tickets were sold in Arizona, Colorado (2), the District of Columbia (2), Kentucky, Louisiana, New Mexico (2), Oregon, Pennsylvania (2), and Tennessee. The winning Louisiana player and one of the winners from Pennsylvania purchased the Power Play option. By spending the extra dollar those players multiplied their prize by 3 for a total win of $300,000.

Forty-four players matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $5,000. Seven of those players purchased the Power Play option, giving them a total win of $15,000.

More than 91,000 winning Powerball players multiplied their prize by 3 Saturday. They were able to do that by purchasing the Power Play option for one dollar. With Power Play you can multiply your winnings, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel is spun to select that night's multiplier.

Players purchased more than 35.1 million tickets between Thursday and Saturday night.

The lotteries sold more than $2 billion in Powerball tickets in 2003. That translates into more than $600 million for worthwhile state projects.
