The winning ticket in Saturday's SuperLotto Plus, worth $24 million, was sold at an East San Jose 7-Eleven, California Lottery officials announced Sunday.

As of Sunday evening, the holder of the ticket had not come forward, but store owners had been notified.

"We're very excited for the person who bought the ticket," said Jenny Nguy, whose parents, Hung and Mai Nguy, own the 7-Eleven at 2577 S. King Road. They also own the Tropicana Foods supermarket at King and Story roads.

The Nguys, who were away on vacation Sunday, have owned the store for about 18 years, Jenny Nguy said. She said her parents probably would give part of their share of the winnings -- one half of 1 percent, or $120,000 -- to charity.

Whoever purchased the ticket will either collect payments over 26 years or in a lump sum of a little less than $12 million, lottery officials said

CASH Only

CA Lottery officials should know what choice was made, since the cash/annuity choice in CA must be made when you play.
