The summer is hot and so is Mega Millions.  With nine different ways to win, Mega Millions players won more than $1.8 million in Friday's drawing.  A total of 241,772 tickets won prizes ranging from $2 to $175,000.  Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $21 million jackpot, that jackpot now grows to an estimated $26 million for the Tuesday, August 26, 2003 drawing.

Friday's winning Mega Millions numbers were 04-19-31-32-51 and the Mega Ball number was 31.

Four tickets came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. They matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number to each win $175,000. All four of those tickets were sold in New York.

Mega Millions players won a total of $1,860,196 in Friday's drawing.
