TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A 19-year-old Bonita Springs man has claimed a $15 million top prize in the new Florida 100X The Cash Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Quinn Kofler purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven on Bonita Beach Road Southeast in Bonita Springs. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $11,175,000.00.

The retailer will receive a $30,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The new $30 game, Florida 100X The Cash, launched on February 26, and features eight top prizes of $15 million — the largest Scratch-Off top prize ever offered by the Florida Lottery.

Could this be the year of the FL teenagers? First we had a teenager bag the Jan 5th MM jackpot, and now this! Congrats nonetheless. I guess the message is " move over Old timers, we got this."

Congratulations to 19-year-old Quinn Kofler! I hope he invests it well and earns more then the annuity would pay out over 29 years.

 Lump Sum = $11,175,000.00 x 37% = $4,134,750.00    $11,175,000.00 - $4,134,750.00 = $7,040,250.00

Florida does not tax lottery winnings. Thanks USAMega.

Hopefully he will think of the long term and not just live in the moment. It's a lifetime of money if spent wisely or if he is foolish with the money could be broke within 5-10 years. Congrats on the win young man.
