LANSING, Mich. — Eric Hartman, 33, of Dexter, Michigan, didn't think actual real people won the lottery. It always seemed like something that happened to people he never really met.
That all changed earlier this month after he matched all six Lotto 47 numbers drawn on Mar. 14 — 3, 14, 29, 34, 40, and 47 — to win a $1.9 million jackpot.
"Up until about 12 days ago, I didn't think anyone won the Lottery," said Hartman. "I thought it was all a conspiracy, but I have a much different outlook now.
"I have been buying Lotto 47 tickets for about six months now. I buy a multi-draw ticket for 25 draws at a time because that covers about three months' worth of drawings. I just never thought I'd be the jackpot winner."
He bought the winning ticket at the Marathon gas station, located at 8135 Main Street in Dexter.
"I was on lunch at work when I heard that a local player had won the jackpot. I went and checked my ticket, and I couldn't believe it. I left work early to get my ticket home and in my safe," Hartman said.
Hartman visited Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing on Monday to claim his prize. He elected to receive a one-time lump-sum payment of $1.2 million instead of an annuity.
"I've got a young daughter, so this will definitely help out with her expenses," said Hartman. "I'll probably invest most of it for now.
"Winning feels great, but I've already got a great life so this is just icing on the cake for me."

Still NEVER won even 4 #s. I feel that more should win at least 4 numbers and mm ball or 4 #s with pb.at least 50k,but sadly its never

The only negative I have, and look @ the ticket, it does not say when the last draw will be. This is the only state I've played in where I found this.

It's confirmed! It's only a conspiracy to a person who chases the golden goose and then says.....see there is no goose! Then once they claim the wins...suddenly they believe.
Ever notice if someone is losing ..it's a conspiracy? Or the lottery is stalking the site to thwart off 'their' numbers? Yet let them hit once in a few then suddenly they drop the conspiracy rant....at least for that day. Expecting others to glorify them.
My theory is simple: I play. I win. I lose. I'm not that dern special to be stalked by a Lottery person. And chances are...neither are they.

Eric Hartman almost had beginner's luck. He would have been so much more excited if he had won on his first try.
I hope his investments pay out for the rest of his life.
If any game is rigged then the criminals usually blow their cover by making a mistake or mistakes. Like what the Hot Lotto thieves tried to do.
The 25th game would be April 4. The first game was Feb 10 and the game is played on Wed & Sat.

Have ya'll ever taken a peeks at the odds? Take a look. That should tell you everything you need to know. To get those nice big juicy jackpots means big juicy odds that means winning is really really hard. It's not about rigging. It's not about payouts should be whatever you think. People play for the jackpot. The other payouts are nice, but you can win those little payouts on tons of other games.

I also bought a multi-draw ticket for Oregon megabucks but in Oregon the Draws are printed on the ticket so you get a bigger ticket because it prints 26 draws on the ticket the actual days.-weshar75
