A California teen is celebrating two big lottery wins in just a week.

19-year-old Rosa Dominguez was recently driving home from Arizona when she decided to make a pit-stop at a gas station in Paso Robles, California. While there, she decided to buy a few instant scratch-off tickets, and one of those was a $5 Power 5's ticket that would change her life. Dominguez scratched that ticket and discovered she'd won the top prize of $555,555!

"I was so nervous I just wanted to cry," she shared.

A few days later, still reeling from the emotion of winning over half a million dollars, Dominguez stopped at a local gas station and decided to try her luck with a $5 Lucky Fortune ticket. After purchasing a single $5 ticket, she won the game's top prize of $100,000.

Dominguez recently stopped by the California Lottery's East Bay District Office in Hayward to claim her two prizes totaling $655,555. Not a bad week for someone who is technically still a teenager. As for her plans for the money, Dominguez says that she wants to go shopping and buy herself a new car.

Dominguez purchased the $5 Power 5's ticket worth $555,555 at Eagle Energy which is located at 2400 Golden Hill Road in Paso Robles (San Luis Obispo County). The $5 Lucky Fortune ticket worth $100,000 was purchased at the Valero gas station located at 348 El Camino Real in Greenfield (Monterey County).

Change her life.   Really.  If she is smart and invest the money correctly that will change her life.  Nobody knows anything about her.

have fun and be careful what you spend.

If Rosa Dominguez is smart she will invest some her winnings and ride the roller coaster of the stock market or real estate.  She could purchase a nice home for herself. A nineteen-year-old with her own home!

 She is lucky and blessed.

Heck a 30 something year old with our own home!(I wish)at any age. I want one here in NC a great part i live in and also back home in CALIFORNIA,is my dream in 1 yr or so. I hope lol

So, to me, age to me don't matter with home ownership, because it can all end any day for us ya know...

Life so short. sad. a 18 y.o. and 30 (two separate accidents) smh, just are now rip too early in heaven all premise on in cali bad fatal car wreck,(not their fault) just to know you're having at ANY age a real chance to own your home, is a beautiful dream for most of us,so i hope she do not waste it, but i don't know.some do. i am so happy for her. God bless and in my home state makes it even better! Now, let some of us win here in NC, my home for a while. Congrats to her. I know she is just beside herself,as her family is. Some call it  just lucky.

I call it that but mostly a true blessing.SmileyRight ticket/Right time as my parents always say, when i win much with pick 4 and pick 3.So happy for this young lady .

Enjoy it, and please utilize it/invest while you're able astutely...Be prudent.

My guess, she will squander her winnings within a year. young adults in Americas society are focused on a bunch of trendy nonsense, and nothing that actually matters.

Though she could do everything right and live a nice comfortable life, but i doubt it

Why not just be happy for her?  Being irresponsible with money isn't just for the young.

I was just going to say that too.  You're absolutely correct.  Learn money management,  learn things when you're young and be careful who you trust.  that is what could happen.

Many of us when we were 19 possibly didn't know what to do.  When I was 19 I would have blown it away but as you get older you get wiser and smarter with finances.  One of the sentences and I had to read over again says it changed her life forever.  That is not a good sign seriously.

Congratulations to her.  Hopefully she will get a financial advisor to help her manage her money.  Also hope she continues to play.

.

I hope she addresses her tax obligation(s) first.  Then see what's left.
Or, as mentioned here, she should consult someone. But if it was me,
(and of course, it's not) I'd do the tax thing, right off the bat, and see what's left.
If me, and if I was already in Californy, I'd aim for the
turbo Porsche Panamera, FL Harley, and a modest home/garage,
(I would hope.)

I'm so sick of not being the winner.

I suspect she may squander it as suggested, and hope for her sake she has some guidance on her windfall.

Tonight her story was shared on a major network.

May she gain as much wisdom as she did wealth from this win!
