NASHVILLE, Tenn. — With the record Powerball Jackpot climbing into the billions, Rebecca Hargrove, President and CEO of the Tennessee Lottery, decided to tackle the issue of the billboard's inability to display an amount that great.
Yesterday, with the help of a bucket truck and an outdoor crew, Hargrove changed 'Million' to 'Billion' to reflect the world-record jackpot that is now an astounding $1.5 billion.
The Powerball jackpot has continued to increase from its initial Sunday morning estimate of $1.3 billion, to $1.4 billion on Monday, and then again to $1.5 billion on Tuesday.
The newly-revised billboard is the only such sign in Tennessee 'retrofitted' to display the growing Powerball jackpot that will be drawn Wednesday night.
Looking ahead to Future Billion Dollar Jackpots!
hargrove needs to go and take her rng with her. you can't win in tennessee any more thanks to her
Oklahoma still shows 999
PATTERN WILL REPEAT AGAIN AND AGAIN, THE CRITERIA HAS NOT CHANGED!!!
WE MAY SEE THIS BILLION DRAWS REPEAT, TAKE IT EASY
In the pic. the word Billion looks like it's on a banner added to the billboard,
good thing, when the JP resets they need to get rid of it.
It won 't look good to have 40 MIL. listed w/ a decimal in front
.40 Billion. LOL
I notice the word "estimated" is much smaller, wonder if you can read it from the road ?
So that's the Dragon lady in the highreach ? LMAO !
She stop paying out on Numbers and now the scratch offs too....Its become depressing to live here,Or as I should say to play here. Her same old Look at me and what I can do.well ole girl what ever, you dont have the final word in where I play.
Ridge, wish you were here, Becky in a cherry picker. Could have lots of fun with that.
LOL thats funny Sully.Yes shes a picker alright.
No lines where I play LOL
The Powerball is going to roll over. Good luck
$40 mil would be listed as .04 billion, not .40
.40 billion = 400million
Ok,
Thanks.
