RICHMOND, Va. — Lady Luck's been looking out for Marvin Bouldin the past few weeks.

The Chester, Virginia, man was on his way home from work when he stopped at a convenience store for a few things, including a Virginia Lottery Scratcher ticket. That ticket turned out to be a $2 million winner in the Millionaire Mania game.

If that isn't amazing enough, it was the second time within two months that he's won a major Virginia Lottery prize. On August 14, he claimed the $1 million prize in Virginia's $5 Million Club.

His latest win came at Roadrunner Enterprises, 2730 East Hundred Road in Chester. When he realized he'd won big again, he quietly left the store.

"I was shocked," he told Virginia Lottery officials. "I just folded it up and put it in my pocket. I called my wife. She didn't believe me — again."

Mr. Bouldin had a choice of taking the full $2 million over 25 years or a one-time cash option of $1,505,000 before taxes. He chose the cash option. The store received a $10,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling the winning ticket.

He is the second $2,000,000 winner in Millionaire Mania, which means one top prize ticket in the game remains unclaimed.

Mr. Bouldin said he plans to use his winnings to put his children through college. He also says his amazing double-stroke of luck won't change him.

"I'm still the same person," he said.

I didn't know that this person is lucky to win twice within a small time span.

Lady Luck sure works in mysterious ways. She doesn't care if you play a lot or have played longer. She will reward who she chooses even if it's multiple times. Congratulations Marvin Bouldin, I hope some of your luck can rub off on me. Cheers

Sems like when you hit it big once, you no longer play with any type of pressure or sense of urgency and you just keep winning.
