LAKE OSWEGO, Or. — The city of Lake Oswego, Oregon, came up big once again, when the winning ticket for the St. Patrick's Day Raffle, announced Wednesday, March 17, was sold by a Lake Oswego Lottery retailer.

Sandy Hendricks of Lake Oswego presented her winning $1 million Raffle ticket at the Lottery office in Salem on Thursday, March 18. Within an hour of presenting her winning ticket, Hendricks was presented with her $1 million prize by Lottery Commission Chair Steve Ungar and Interim Director Larry Niswender, in a special presentation. Hendricks was accompanied by her husband John and son Travis to the presentation.

The winning number for the $1 million prize was 130338.  The complete list of winning numbers is shown on Lottery Post's Oregon Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/or).

Tickets for the St. Patrick's Day Raffle, the third Oregon Lottery Raffle drawing, went on sale Jan. 24. The 250,000 tickets were completely sold out in 10 days.

Hendricks is the third $1 million winner, following Ellie Combs of Lake Oswego in the 2009 Thanksgiving Day Raffle, and Chuck Mickes of Camas, Wash., the winner of the first Raffle Drawing on St. Patrick's Day 2009.

Up next is the Oregon Lottery's July 4th Raffle. Ticket sales begin at 5 a.m. on May 16.

Hendricks' winning ticket was sold at Plaid Pantry No. 204, in Lake Oswego. Prizes for the popular Oregon Lottery game include the $1 million top prize, 10 $20,000 prizes and 1,000 $100 prizes. In addition to the $1 million prize, five of the $20,000 prizes had already been claimed by Thursday afternoon. A complete list of all 1,011 winning Raffle numbers can be found on the Lottery's Web site at www.oregonlottery.org. Players can also check their Raffle tickets at any Oregon Lottery retail location.

Three $20,000 prizes from the 2009 Thanksgiving Day Raffle remain unclaimed. Players have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, to claim those prizes.

Since the Oregon Lottery began selling tickets on April 25, 1985, it has earned nearly $7 billion for economic development, public education, state parks and watershed enhancements. In that same period, it has paid its players more than $16 billion in prizes.
