SEATTLE, Wash. — Washington's Lottery is rolling out a scratch-off ticket with the Seattle Seahawks, now that the NFL owners have agreed to allow team logos to be used on lottery tickets.

The new Seahawks Winning Play Scratch tickets went on sale Tuesday and will be sold inside Qwest Field during Seahawks home games.

"The new Seahawks Scratch ticket gives players another way to support their team throughout the season," said Washington's Lottery Director Christopher Liu said in a statement. "In addition, ticket proceeds help pay down the debt on Qwest Field and Event Center."

Top prize is $50,000. Players also have a chance to win airfare, accommodations and tickets for two to next year's Super Bowl and Pro Bowl in Miami. That prize is valued at $12,000.

At their annual spring meeting, National Football League owners unanimously agreed to allow team brands to be stamped on lottery tickets. Several other NFL teams plan similar lottery tickets, including the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, and Denver Broncos.

"We are proud to extend our partnership with Washington's Lottery into a fun, co-branded game for fans," said Ron Jenkins, Seahawks vice president of corporate partnerships, in a statement. "Seahawks Winning Play features an exciting prize structure and will help generate funds for important state programs."

Washington's Lottery has had a similar relationship with the Seattle Mariners.
