GAINESVILLE, Ga. — A Gainesville man's life may have been opened to new possibilities after winning a $1 million Georgia Lottery prize.

Donald Grant, 58, won the lottery after purchasing a World Class Millions ticket, a Georgia Lottery instant game, with his morning cappuccino.

"This is a lucky day," Grant said of winning his prize. "I was stunned."

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle M Food Shop on 2310 Old Cornelia Highway in Gainesville.

According to Grant, winning his prize opens up a "realm of possibilities."

"I want to get a new start on life, pay off bills and buy a new home," he shared. "I also want to put some back into the economy."

World Class Millions is an instant ticket loaded with cash prizes up to $5 million.

If I was to win the lottery I would wish I found out about it in early evening rather than morning time. I would  be a little tired and wondering why I seem to be stuck in level 2 and then booya! I see the numbers that could make any man take a double take.

Congrats to the Georgia man.
