One million Florida Lottery tickets had a shot at winning $1 million, and nine of those are officially chosen as the big winners.
Lottery players anxiously waiting to see if they are now among the wealthy can check their tickets at Lottery Post's Florida Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/fl).
With only 1 million tickets available for the raffle, Florida lottery ticket buyers had a better chance of winning a million dollars than with any other game offered in the state. The odds of winning $1,000,000 was 1 in 111,111.
In addition to the top prize, there are also 10 prizes of $50,000, 12 prizes of $5,000, and 1,000 prizes of $500.
Holiday Millionaire Raffle tickets cost $20 each. Sales started Friday, November 14, 2008 and all 1 million tickets were sold prior to the drawing.
The game generated $7.9 million to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
Congratulations to the nine lucky winners. What a great way to start the new year!
Kudos to Todd for listing the winning numbers in a way players can read them (chronologically)

I've done two raffles so far here in Michigan with zilch payback. This time, I bought three tickets for the third raffle. LOL. I spaced them out, one at the beginning, one in the middle and one within the last 100k. The drawing is supposed to be next week.
Maybe third times's the charm, eh?
I certainly hope so, good luck!!!
I bought 3 for Fla and didn't win anything.
Way to go guys!!! I sure hope one in Pensacola won. Best of Luck Florida!!
