A ticket sold in northern Ontario and one sold in Québec will split the $45.1 million Lotto 6/49 jackpot, tied for the second-largest draw in Canada.
Each winning ticket is worth $22,572,856, the provincial gambling agency, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLGC), said in a release Thursday.
The winning numbers were pulled Wednesday night. They are 10, 18, 22, 26, 34, 38 and bonus number 39.
There were 17 second prizes, worth $220,055 each. Ontario players won seven of those, OLGC said.
The agency's website said the odds of winning a top prize are typically one in 14 million, although big draws like Wednesday's often attract players who are not regulars, increasing the chances that at least one ticket will win the jackpot.
The largest jackpot ever was $54.3 million from October 2005 that was won by 17 workers at Viking Holdings in Sedgewick, Alta.
There was also a $43 million prize won in the summer of 2006.
Wednesday's draw grew because there were no winning tickets sold for last Saturday's draw, when the jackpot was $36 million.

lets hope if they are they dont make any posts or claims in here, or we're up for another 30 pages of threads etc.
You don't get warm fuzzies reading about other's good fortunes? It's what gives us other lottery players HOPE! Plus I enjoy reading about others success in any endeavour <sp>.
The winning ticket in Ontario was shared amongst a group of car lot dealers in Sundridge, Ontario -- who all went in faithfully in on their group ticket every week, each will receive a little less than $1 million. All said they would keep their jobs, with the exception of two who were going to retire in another year or two.
