Ca$hola

A Massachusetts man is $450,000 richer after he became the first person to win a new multi-state slot game.

Richard Keels of Boston's Mattapan neighborhood won $709,000 Sunday at Lincoln Park. He chose a one-time cash payout of $454,000, according to the Rhode Island Lottery.

Keels won Ca$hola, the nation's first multistate progressive slot jackpot. It links slots at Lincoln Park and Newport Grand in Rhode Island with those in Delaware and West Virginia. Part of the money gambled at each machine goes into the jackpot, which can be won in any of the three states.

The game started July 18. It is run by the Multi-State Lottery Association, which operates Powerball.

The chance of winning Ca$hola is about one in 7 million.

Good job Mr. Keels. I hope you don't have financial problems later in life.

If this game has a good run other states could  join in and that makes bigger jack-pots
