Mega Millions lottery jackpot increased to $27 million

Mega Millions

The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game has grown to $27 million for Friday's drawing.

None of the tickets sold for Tuesday night's $18 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball.

There were two second-prize winners: 1 from Georgia and 1 from Ohio.  Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000.

Fourteen players matched four of the five lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number to win $10,000 each.

The winning numbers were 17, 21, 28, 48 and 54. The Mega Ball number was 1.

The Texas Megaplier was 3.
