The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game grew to $80 million for Friday's drawing.
None of the tickets sold for Tuesday night's $66 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball.
There were six second-prize winners: 3 from California, 1 from Illinois, 1 from Massachusetts, and 1 from New Jersey. Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000.
The California second-prize winners will receive $136,838 each because California does not award the fixed prize amounts that the other Mega Millions states use.
Also, 26 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000, except the California tickets, which are worth $14,366 each.
The winning numbers were 7, 15, 24, 43 and 44. The Mega Ball number was 22.
The Texas Megaplier was 2.

come on baby ..... let the good times roll
Congratulations to the 2nd prize winners. I hope it continues to roll.
I will be nice to see it get really high.
I hope this Jack Pot keeps growing. I have over 40 members in my Lottery Pool and want to be sure each of my people get at least $1 Million before we win.

Are you saying you're hoping your lottery pool continue to lose until the cash amount of the jackpot is over $40M or you're waiting until the cash amount of the jackpot is over $40M so your lottery pool can start playing?
I wonder will it ever get over $400mill

We play in every game. I purchase tickets for my group with the Multi-draw feature, so our numbers are good for 1 month.
I've been playing for over 2 years, and it doesn't matter what the Jack Pot Prize is, $12 million or $240 million, we will have tickets in that game.
I've not missed a game since this game started over 2 years ago.
But, in my newsletters, I have told my members that I would like to see the Jack Pot roll until Tuesday June 6th, 2006. That will be the last day one of our tickets is valid.
With 52 shares iussed in my game, I would like to see each share get at least $1 Million dollars.
