One lucky lottery player matched all six numbers in the special UK Lotto Superdraw to win the £15 million (US$26 million) Christmas Eve jackpot.

The ticketholder has yet to come forward to claim their winnings and might not even know their good fortune yet.

A Camelot spokeswoman confirmed they were still waiting to hear from the lucky winner.

UK Lotto jackpots are paid tax-free, and are always lump-sum cash payments, meaning that unlike advertised jackpots in the United States, the winner will actually receive the full $26 million in cash.

The winning numbers are 17-21-25-27-30-37, and the Bonus number is 16.

The UK Lotto jackpot is US$4.7 million for the Wednesday drawing.
