If you played the Connecticut Lottery's Classic Lotto game on Friday, you'll want to check your ticket.

Someone won the $4.9 million jackpot but hasn't yet stepped forward to claim the prize.

The winning numbers were eight-21-22-27-35 and 42. This is the third time this year a winning ticket has been sold for the jackpot. Chances of winning are one in seven million.

Nearly ten-thousand other people won smaller prizes in Friday's drawing.

Players have a year to claim their prizes. Dennis Chapman, vice president of sales and marketing for the lottery, says everyone should check their tickets because the lottery wants to find all the winners.

Winners appear to be casting a suspicious eye at things these days..... hmmm, says some Yankee as he eyes the winning numbers and compares them to his ticket.  Hmmmm.... if I claim this prize can I still keep the house, car, wife and savings account after I've paid off all the benefits?

He/she's working on the numbers.  It might take a year.
