A ticket sold in Georgia matched all six numbers in Saturday night's $9 million Lotto South drawing, lottery officials said Sunday.

The Georgia Lottery's web site indicated the ticket was sold in Americus.

The winning ticket matched the numbers 6, 7, 12, 13, 31 and 42.

Thirty-three tickets matched five numbers to qualify for payouts of $896, and 1,925 had four numbers to entitle their owners to a payout of $60, officials said.

Wednesday night's jackpot will be $2 million.

Red letter day in Americus, GA,  thinks I.  Seems to me that might have been Jimmy Carterville?

Congrats.

Why no mention that three numbers paid $4? There are FOUR prize levels in LS.

Rip--Not quite Jimmy Carterville- The little town of Plains just down the road from Americus gets that distinction. But you are darn close !

Maybe it was someone that used to pick Jimma's peanuts for .50 / hour . If so, they ain't a pickin no mo peanuts !!!!!!

Well, not quite 40 years.  Lyndon Johnson was President through 1968.  (Technically 1969.)
